Justine is a skilled family law practitioner with an approachable manner and a keen sensitivity to people who are distressed, angry or anxious.
Justine has considerable experience in all aspects of family law including:
- Children’s matters, both by consent and litigation
- Financial settlements after separation, for both married and de facto couples
- Financial Agreements (often called ‘pre-nuptial agreements’ or ‘pre-nups’) for both married couples and those in de facto relationships
- Spousal maintenance and child support
- Intervention Orders
Justine also advises on Wills and Probate, Criminal, Commercial Law and Court Appearances.
Highlights: Raised in Cohuna on a Dairy Farm, Justine left the farm to study Law at Bond University in Queensland. After she was admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister, she returned home and commenced her Practice in Cohuna with her husband Trevor in January 2002. She understands the challenges of business, family relationships and people of the land. She has been involved in trials at the Federal Magistrates Court, Family Court of Australia, Supreme Court Of Victoria, District Court of NSW, Local Court of NSW, Magistrates Court of Victoria, County Court of Victoria and Victorian Supreme Court Court of Appeal.
